Lorenzo Viti is co-founder of Kernova, the Vitoria-Gasteiz engineering firm that specialises in converting hydraulic machinery to electromechanical systems. He holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pisa and specialises in structural analysis and finite element simulation. He headed the FEA simulation department at Meta System in Italy and today combines Kernova with his role as CAE Manager at PMFACTORY in Bologna.
He was a speaker at the SIMULATION Learning Day by CIMWORKS Lutech (Madrid, November 2025) and is part of the team behind Kernova’s KRN linear actuator, which replaces the hydraulic cylinder and power units in presses and lifting machines.
